Sharry,
I read you notes and watch the video.
Do Major and other exercises Evan is ready to play with a challenge. Try to push the metronome or the rhythm section. Start slow.
We don't have teaching videos for the songs mentioned. However, I think that your son is ready for more challenging piano pieces.
Please, choose from the following:
Favorite Classic 2 (I suggest learning In the Hall of the Mountain King)
Boogie 1 (Robot rock, Cat boogie and more)
I love challenges
Let me know, what did you choose!

Wonderful. We have all the TEAHING VIDEOS for this Album. Evan is a very fast learner. Learn couple of compositions and show the video to see, what next step should be rakent to the piano technique development. The exercises should be played before each practice every day.
The progression is:
1. Play with both hands
2. PLay and say the name of the notes (if in contrary motion - say names of on hand)
3. Play with the metronome
4. Gradually increase the speed of the metronome

Is it OK we start with one hand and cut pieces? When he is confident with one hand, then we play with both hands as the progression.

What does it mean "(if in contrary motion - say names of on hand)"? Do you have example how to do this?

Thank you

This is a must!

When he is confident with one hand, then we play with both hands as the progression.

Play R, then L after that P. When he does R or L the time bar should be less then amount of notes played. Otherwise he is at the stage of building coordination and fine motor skills.

I am writing the chapter about it right now... So little time.
Did you have a chance to see my blog in English forum?

What does it mean "(if in contrary motion - say names of on hand)"? Do you have example how to do this?

It means that in right and left hands are different notes' names. He has to chose 1 hand and say it. I can't find videos now (too much on m plate)

Thank you[/quote]
