Emilia is Estonian and Portuguese, loves dancing and gymnastics, singing and is an easy smile.
She has been living with this software since she was born, through her brother Paul. As I decided to start the formal certification with him this year, she did too.
We are using charts, where she writes down her scores and times, tracking her evolution. I also use music money (some homemade banknotes with Mozart's face on them) as a reward when they finish an assignment.
She uses the software independently, likes to try to play different pieces with one hand - even difficult ones - but is also enjoying the beginner albums.

Below are several pictures of finished pieces that Paul chose to play because he likes them. Sometimes, he plays them again, but I don't insist with that at all. I focus his efforts towards playing with both hands simpler songs, hand posture and sing-a-long the notes.

Paul has a particular interest in this piece, but I don't have pictures of the final progress as I started registering it in his charts instead of one-time challenges.
His latest score for the left hand is 93 flowers with 43'' of time delay (green speed).

In the following topics, I will post some photos of Paul's finished self-proposed challenges, which were too long to put into a video, but show his focus. Some of the songs, he would leave in the middle to do some task to later continue - sometimes even overnight, to continue on the next day, namely those where the time frame shows 999 seconds.

Paul is Estonian and Portuguese, living in Estonia since birth, who enjoys making his own music, singing, playing many instruments (real and imaginary), but also machines, riding his bike and dismantling every object.
Paul has been in contact with the software since he was very young. This year, I decided to start following the curriculum with him. By then, he was already familiar with the piano, the music notes and the software, understanding triads intuitively and with quite an accurate musical hearing, being able to play simple melodies by ear.
Now, we are using charts, where he writes down his scores and times, tracking his evolution. I also use music money (some homemade banknotes with Mozart's face on them) as a reward when they finish an assignment.
He uses the software independently every day, and he spends a lot of time playing his favourite sheets with one hand - usually the left hand.
While I am insisting with him to play simpler songs with both hands, I also see his interest is much higher for these challenging pieces. So, I balance his enthusiasm with some hand posture exercises (which enable him to play faster and smoother), and invite him to sing the notes from the right hand while playing the left hand.
