Rules for the Butterfly Ball - 2024

Attention! In our competition, we continue to assess your pedagogical abilities.

Learn yourself and teach your friends, relatives, neighbors to play our exercises and pieces. Post videos of your students in your blog.

They must also upload videos of their learning to their YouTube channel, post additional videos briefly talking about their impressions of the lessons and the work of the instructor. Students of instructors from the Academy are entitled to count butterflies as discounts for purchasing a license in the future.

Who can participate?
Any student of the Soft Mozart Academy aged 2 and older, who has an active Soft Mozart program license.
An active license is not required for child-instructor students in the "Teach Good" project.
What pieces to perform?
Any that you have learned or read during the semester – with the help of the Program or even without it. Young preschool children are allowed to perform pieces with one hand and play exercises.
Children with disabilities and adults with disabilities perform pieces with or without the SM program with one or both hands and play exercises.

Is it necessary to have records in the "Personal Diaries" topic about completing the curriculum for the semester to participate in the concert?

Your entries in "Personal Diaries" are not mandatory for participating in the Winter Academic Concert. You can continue to meet all the curriculum requirements and make entries at your pace, to finish by the Academic Assessment in August-September 2024.

The goal of the "Butterfly Ball" is to inspire as many people as possible with the desire to engage in music, perform as many pieces as possible, and for each piece receive a butterfly, which is equivalent to a 100 rubles discount on the program purchase. The most important task is to enjoy performing music and share the joy of your creativity with others.

Your "students'" performances will be counted in the competition in addition to your butterflies.

How many pieces are needed to participate in the concert?
It's entirely up to you! As many as you like!

Do all pieces have to be performed by heart?
No. The "Butterfly Ball" is a concert where it's important to play as many pieces as possible, even imperfectly. Participation is the most important goal!

To play by heart or from sheet music?

Your choice!

Attention: The attire for children and adults for recording the performance should be festive. Costumes and ties for boys, fancy dresses for girls are welcome.

What is needed to participate?

Prepare.
Make one video for each piece.
Videos must be published on your YouTube channel.

Formatting the video on YouTube

Please, put the following information in the title of your video
Soft Mozart Recital 2023-2024:
Write the title of the performance and video in Latin script! This is an international BALL!
Child's name *For example Elena in Latin script (age) plays 'title of the piece' (for example French Song) by composer's name in Latin script (for example Tchaikovsky)

Soft Mozart Recital: Maria (5) plays 'French Song' by Tchaikovsky

In the description on the forum, put only the following information: Child's name, when they began studying music with the "Soft Mozart" program *** months/years ago. This is the first (second, third, etc.) performance. Teacher (teacher's name) or home education with mom/dad. Do not write any more information in the description.

In Latin script write the participant's name, age, and country in the topic title.

A colorful photo of the child at the beginning of the topic is welcome. Practice has shown that it's very beautiful and festive.

Post one video by copying and pasting from the box on YouTube. Under the video, put the title of the piece that is playing in the video.

After publishing the first video, click on Quick Reply. In the new window, post the second video. And so on.

The last day for posting video links is January 17, 2024.

Let all your acquaintances and friends know that you are a participant in the concert and give them the link to the page with your performances.

Watch the videos of other participants, praise them and congratulate them on their performance! (We all need love and support!)

ATTENTION!

Only videos with open access from YouTube are accepted for the concert .

The Soft Mozart team will collect butterflies for you for each piece you perform for us! The virtual number of butterflies will be noted in your certificate, and the gift butterflies will be sent by mail (their quantity will also be noted in the certificate)

After the concert ends, all our gifts will be sent to you! Stay tuned for our announcements: we will ask you to write where to send your address and information about the number of butterflies after all necessary ceremonies and reviews.

Creating the certificate and sending the butterfly package will be done for a fee. The payment price is 1,000 rubles per participant.
If you want to receive the certificate for free, you will receive it in digital form.

ATTENTION!

You can record a video address to all participants of the Butterfly Ball. For this, Queen Tonica will send you an additional butterfly or even several, or maybe a whole gift!

The video address can be on any topic. Humor, unexpected topics, talent are welcome!
