Dear Melisa!
Thank you very much for participating in our recital! You started learning how to play piano and read music just couple of months ago and make a good progress that I anticipate will be even better in no time, because you are learning very quickly.
Here what I observed so far. You have an excellent control over your fingers of the left hand. You are about to gain the same control with the right hand. You use different fingers to play 'French Song'. You connect the keys and play legato, because you have strong fingers and hold the piano keys strongly.
I also noticed that you figure the piano keys geography not with the visual help of piano stickers, but also using your logic skills. You remember the order of the keys, don't you? This is excellent ability to have: to combine all of your senses in learning something new with abstract reasoning. It seems to me like you are a very clever girl! Let's get more piano pieces and rock next recital even more!
I am looking forward to see you at our Summer classes and next semesters.
I am going to send you a certificate and little present in a memory of your another great recital!
Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner, Professor of Herzen University (St Petersburg, Russia) - Developer of the Course 'Additional vocational training program and Interactive network technologies'. The author of 'Soft Way to Mozart computer based curriculum for teaching music and piano.
