Hello, Dora!
Thank you very much for participating in our recital! I also want to thank your teacher Olga Kolesnikova for submitting all of your videos.
In a short time you learned a lot of piano pieces! You demonstrated excellent eye-hand coordination, both hands coordination and well developed fingers' independency. You have proper hand position, relaxed hands and shoulders even under some stress being on spotlight.
I think, you have excellent music ear and music memory. You played all of your pieces by heart! I also noticed good sense of rhythm and pulse.
Your fingers are very confident and I want you also to be the same. Please, don't be afraid to play for people or make mistakes! Mistakes are part of our learning process and when you perform people mostly focuse on the character of music.
I think, you are very close to start a new level of your piano development: working on articulation of music and phrasing!
I am looking forward to see you at our summer classes and next semesters.
I am going to send you a certificate and little present in a memory of your another great recital!
Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner, Professor of Herzen University (St Petersburg, Russia) - Developer of the Course 'Additional vocational training program and Interactive network technologies'. The author of 'Soft Way to Mozart computer based curriculum for teaching music and piano.
