Segment 4

For this segment, Maria decided to play each song 3 times every time she practiced! She was so excited about the recital! Quite often she would practice when I was doing something else, so I didn't get all of her scores written down. She only practiced with both hands, so all scores are for P1. Somewhere along the line here she discovered that the numbers actually meant something. She would get so excited about what her score was. She tries to tell me how many notes she missed and how many seconds off she is.

She chose Musette, Hickory Dickory Dock, and This Old Man. We tried the other ones too, but she isn't quite ready for 3 notes with one hand at the same time. We will add that concept to our practice to see if she can develop the muscles needed to play those songs.
