Skype Group Call

I've started announcing members of SM English forum.

Here's the message for all:

Hellene agreed to have Skype Group calls with her students all over the world.

She's starting this weekend. Here's her answer and free time for that:

I am not sure about whether Sunday or saturday is best. Can I please give a more definite answer on Friday?

We are gmt -2:30. Newfoundland. It will be 4:30pm here if 2 in Houston.

Hi everybody!
My name is Olga.
I would like to be a part of any group! Well... I mean English or Russian. Andrea please let me know which time is available.
Although I don't have a child with me I would like to see Hellene and how she is teaching.
I suggest that everybody themselves figure out which difference in time he/she has with Houston Texas ( please use Andrea's link above or my below

To avoid any misunderstanding I would suggest in the Forum to use ONLY Houston time
So, the best time for me from 2pm to 5pm, Saturday or Sunday. Can be both!

You're the one coming with this great idea, I believe Hellene will agree and wait till Friday for your answer

Now, to have a good start - as I was wrong, Olga gave the right link for the current time in Texas, Houston . GMT-5, as DST (Daylight Savings Time) is applied too).

Ariel, as The Moon/ Olga suggested, you need to look here and tell us exactly your local time. Which Newfoundland are you referring to? USA? Then you're GMT-4, 1 hour ahead of Hellene. When she says 2 pm for you it's 1 p.m., right?

For me, "after 2 p.m." means Saturday night beginning 10 p.m. :lol: I also need time to think.
