A few things to check. Make sure you have the correct driver for the OS.
Are you running Windows 7 64-bit? If so, you will need to download the 64-bit driver.
Are you running Window 7 32-bit? If so, you will need to download the 32-bit driver.

"Device drivers designed for 32-bit versions of Windows won't work on computers running a 64-bit version of Windows."

It is possible that you may need to disable the UAC, firewall and/or antivirus temporarily to install the driver.

AnnaK wrote: Hallo,

we seem to have the same / a similar problem.

We try to install a Windows 7 driver for a Roland HP 203 electric piano.

The installation process of the Roland Driver does not go forward.
As soon as we connect the piano to the computer and switch on the piano, the process stops.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Thank you very much in advance!

It seems like the problem is with Roland drivers for me...

Most likely the driver.

Check to see if you have Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit.

Then go to the following link for Windows 7 32-bit

www.rolandus.com/support/downloads_updat...=digip_win7_v100.zip

or

Go to the following link for Windows 7 64-bit
www.rolandus.com/support/downloads_updat...ip_win7_x64_v100.zip

If you do not know which version of Windows 7, follow these steps:

1 - right click on Computer (or go to system properties)
2 - go to properties
3 - look at system type... it should show you 64-bit Operating System or 32-bit Operating System.

Maybe this will help you.
