I'm quite pleased with Jacob's progress (especially with the finger placement) and he's been working diligently on his pieces. His latest piece:

I agree, they are better learners and since children like routine, I find that they are more disciplined with practicing. I have been surprised by their interest though. I had no idea they had this much interest and ability in music and piano. I also discovered that the same was true for art (painting and drawing). I now have a deeper appreciation for music and art programs for children.
