Hello!
I finally did!
Can you, please, upload the videos on YouTube since it is much easier to watch. You just place here a link and the picture of the video will be visible for all of us!
Here what I noticed so far:
1. Your daughter has excellent ear for music and good sense of rhythm.
2. Her fingers' awareness is very good as well as coordination.
3. She easily switches her eye focus between the music notation and piano.
Suggestions:
Abigail is trying to fasten her fingers to the hand position. Nothing is wrong with it, but with Soft Mozart our goal is to develop her visual perception more heavily. The hand position is about relying on the muscle memory.
I would recommend her to play Hanon exercise. She is also ready to learn Chromatic scale, Triads and C Major. She CAN. Through the exercises she will learn piano geography and will feel more comfortable on the piano keys.
Nursery Songs 0 she needs for developing sight-reading. Please, give her to play ALL the piano pieces from the Album, but on 2, 4, 5 and 6th. These are very easy piano pieces for her and our goal now is to teach her to read lines and spaces of the Grand Staff.
I would like to watch her playing Introductory Songs with chords in the left hand to be able to suggest the next set of songs for her Winter recital.
