Welcome on board!
You asked very important and interesting question and I think, many of our readers would benefit from our conversation.
You see, when we are learning different subjects, there is a straight gradual sequence of themes that we have to follow: from simple to complicated. With piano sometimes it doesn't work this way.
It all depends on your individual talents and music aptitude.
I always try to teach ALL of my piano beginners all 'Introductory songs' - after that we go to 'Musette' from 'Favorite classics, all Nursery rhymes, some 'Christmas Carols' (Deck the Halls, Jolly Old Saint Nickolas, Angels we have heard on high...) After that every student is having their own, individual path.
Are you planning to record a video of yourself playing songs any time soon? It would be easier to tell after viewing your coordination and other developments.
It is important to start learning Solfeggio and chords the sooner the better also.
Did you have any chance to view our videos on that?
PS
My congratulations for your success with the program!!!
I can't wait to see your performance!

Yes, the use of Solfeggio in learning music is extremely valuable. You see, all kids learn language of their mother tong using speech memory. Therefore, speech - is a very foundation of musi development.
By using our piano key guides or stickers with Solfeggio symbols, playing the song and (at least) saying the names of th notes (better, of cause to sing them), you help your memory to remember the music piece and develop your ear and voice at the same time!
Are you trying to sing the pieces that you learn with Solfeggio names?
Here is a short video about that:

I've been learning piano using the letters of the alphabet A-G. Is that going to be a problem for me with Solfeggio? I've uploaded two videos of me playing pieces from Favorite Classics 1. After I recorded the video I was wondering if you would like to be able to see my hands and fingers more closely in order to help me with your suggestions. If so, please let me know so I can record it again but closer. Thanks.
