Hello, Jagoda!

Thank you very much for participating in our recital! I also want to thank your wonderful teacher Ines for submitting all of the videos.

I think that you made a wonderful performance! You played on real piano, with no any stickers or piano key guides, with excellent piano posture, strong and precise fingers and a lot of developed skills.

You memorized all of you piano pieces and was very confident and artistic performing them.

The ‘Broken chords’ were played in appropriate speed, with the flow. You did an excellent job in combining legato in your left hand with non-legato in your right.

The ‘Sad song’ demonstrated your new skill to play with crossed hands, when you balance the melody and chords. This is very nice skill to have for a girl of your age: it requires the entire control of both hands. Way to go, Jagoda! You made it!

The ‘Han’ video demonstrated for me that now you can play legato in one hand and staccato in another. I also liked the ending of the piece. It was very artistic and genuine, how you slowed down and played diminuendo en.wiktionary.org/wiki/diminuendo .

Great job, Jagoda!

I am looking forward to see you at our summer classes and next semesters.

I am going to send you a certificate and little present in a memory of your another great recital!

Sincerely,

Hellene Hiner, Professor of Herzen University (St Petersburg, Russia) - Developer of the Course 'Additional vocational training program and Interactive network technologies'. The author of 'Soft Way to Mozart computer based curriculum for teaching music and piano.
