Dear Liza,
I have come to bring you wonderful news from all the residents of our Kingdom.
I personally volunteered to comment on your performance.
I am the Royal Courier of Her Majesty, Queen Tonic.
At times, I must overcome many challenges to deliver important messages to her.
That is why I must always be focused, attentive, and highly organized.
And when I watched your performance, I realized — you are a girl of the very same character.
You performed pieces that are quite challenging for your age. What truly impressed me was how confidently you work with musical notation, where you must read many notes at once in two clefs.
Perhaps your most impressive achievement was your reading of the song “The Grasshopper Sat in the Grass.”
In our Kingdom, we value exactly these qualities: the ability to concentrate, not to get distracted, and to take on complex pieces. Memorizing music from a teacher’s hands is the easiest thing in the world.
But reading note by note requires the ability to see an entire sequence of notes, find them on the keyboard, and immediately perform them — not with one hand, but with both — and with correct fingering.
It is just like my job: I read the address and urgently deliver the message. No one asks me to memorize everything. No one! The main thing is to deliver it accurately.
I am confident that your visual-motor delay is approaching zero. Do you know what that means? If not, ask your teacher, Larisa Alexandrovna Badanina. She will explain it to you using your own performance as an example. She will show you that even in complex pieces with many notes, your visual-motor coordination is healthy and well developed.
This means your attention and concentration are excellent!
And that means you are not only beautiful — you are truly smart. You have a bright and remarkable future ahead of you.
And on top of that, you are a very musical girl. The very motion of the music helps you use all your abilities and continue growing.
We are looking forward to your new performances.
See you at the summer graduation concert!
