Nominee today: Eliana, 6-year-old, Israel

Dear Eliana, thank you very much for participating in our recital! We watched all of your videos and couldn't find any that we may like less then others! :woohoo: You are making great and steady progress in learning to play piano and we are very happy for you as well as we happy to be your n listeners!

You performed on real piano and we have to tell you that you have strong fingers, great posture and nice performing touch.

Wedding March: in this piece the challenge is with rhythm. You performed it very accurate making no errors. Chords are deep and balanced with melody. Character is ceremonial. Wonderful job!

Bach Musette: this piece you played with a good solid sound as Bach music requires, coordination and general technique is great, songs' flow is consistent. I like your phrasing, correct combination of staccato and legato. Good job with nuances.

Nikolayev Etude: active, strong fingers in process of developing velocity. Again, great phrasing and combination of different moves - staccato, legato and non legato. The last 2 bars are excellent example of you mastering crescendo and diminuendo in one phrase. Brava!

Beethoven 'Ode to Joy' - very artistic, you play the piece 'deliciously' - people want to hear such performance. You enjoy music and make others enjoying it. You focused on your performance and do not pay attention to any destruction. I like the way you ended the piece - slow down a little and let the last chord last. Nice touch!

Straus 'Blue Danube Waltz' - you made this piece sparkling. You have a nice piano touch and necessary flow and speed of the song that makes it 'dancing'. The chords are deep and balanced with the melody. Wonderful job!

Eliana, we love you and looking forward to hear your new performances!
We are sending you a certificate of participation in our academe, a free T-shirt with the nomination: 'Eliana, you make piano performing popular!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Adam, 7-year-old, Poland

Dear Adam, thank you very much for participating in our recital!
We know a lot about your progress from your teacher Ines and have to tell you: you are an excellent students and we enjoy your videos and very proud to see your progress!

You have excellent piano skills and play acoustic piano with no stickers or piano key guides! :woohoo: Way to go!

We love the way you play 'Cat Boogie' - it is nice and smooth and shows real nature of cat - flexible, agile and graceful. Your -Miaoo at the end told us that you were making a piano piece about a 'boy' cat that is having low timber of his voice. ;) You helped us to see that with sounds we can draw pictures! Adam, you are great!

Etude: we love the festive and colorful picture that you drew in this piece, Adam. Even though the piece is having very abstract name - Etude - we can see a nice party in a village where people have a lot of fun in a market place, where they can listen to some street musicians and buy some colorful lollypops and dance. We love how you juggling melody from right to left hands and how you play a 5th as a chord in background.

Adam, we love you and appreciate your progress! We are going to send you a certificate of participation in our recital and a free T-shirt with the nomination: 'Adam, we loved the pictures that you paint with your performance!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Joanna K, Poland, 8 y.o., Poland

Dear Joanna K, thank you very much for participating in our recital! We were watching your progress with your wonderful teacher Ines for more then a year and have to say that you made a great progress in your piano study!

In your Menuet in F you already demonstrated a great technique of playing legato in right hand and staccato in left! :woohoo: It is not easy task for such a young lady like you! Your rhythm and pulse of the pieces that you play is very steady, you listen to your phrasings and hear music inside of your mind. We especially liked your triplets in Menuet: you play them accurately and precisely. Fermata at the end of the Menuet and ending were very artistic and thoughtful!

We like your piano posture, your fingers development and sounds that you make. We would LOVE to hear more piano pieces from you and looking forward to watching more of your videos.

We love you and send you a certificate of participation in our recital and a T-shirt with the nomination: 'Joanna, thank you for the great progress in learning piano!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Elisabeth, 7-year-old, Israel

Dear Elisabeth,

Last May we had a Home School Conference in Iowa. The video of you playing 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' and after that '"Kamarinskaya' in front of huge audience was the most popular in our place! We were showing it to people over and over again. The way that you went from the point, when you were arguing with your mom, which finger you should use in simple song - and playing so well in just 2,5 years is very remarkable. :woohoo: You worked really hard to achieve that and deserve people's recognition!

Most importantly, after watching your success, many children and adults now have higher expectations from their own practice trying to accomplish more and dedicate more time in learning piano.

You see, how great example can inspire people and make them work harder to achieve better results? You are the one, who helped them to believe in themselves! You are just 7-year-old little girl and can do so much for the world! By sharing your gift with others you give people hope and enlightening.

We think that you are blessed to have such dedicated mom, who also a great pianist and a teacher. We know that you are her excellent student. But it is not enough just to have talent and a good teacher - it takes dedication and ability to work hard and never give up to produce such results and you have all of that! You will be very successful in life, if you will maintain these qualities and we are looking forward to cheer up for you and watch your new achievement in music as well as in sports!

We love all the pieces that you performed in this recital so far, especially Sonatina, Neapolitan Song and the Cuckoo. Your piano technique improved big time, artistic level is also matured.

We love you and going to send you a T-shirt with the nomination: 'Elisabeth, you inspire people to learn piano!'. We also send you a Certificate of participation in our recital.

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team
