Blake has no piano experience and tends to get frustrated easily.
He sings in children's choir and has been told he has a lovely voice.
Blake is (mostly) recovered from autism.

Since he is 8, I was thinking to start with the Beginner Prep C.

Schedule-wise, what do you recommend?

I have seen the lesson plans and have burned CD's with some of the pieces on them to listen to in the car.

I'm thinking realistically we will probably practice about 30 minutes 4 times/week:

Piano Practice
a) Guess Key Game (2-3 minutes)

b) Gentle Piano (15 minutes)
Songs to learn this month: Mulberry Bush, Hot Cross Buns, French Song, Jingle Bells

Sightread (on level 2+) Haydn's Surprise Symphony

c) Piano: 5 finger exercise.

Other: Learn names of notes and do flashcards.

Emily,
Yes, Prep C would be the right choice. We can adjust it any time! Let me know, how it goes!
